JILL CARLSON
Owner/CEO ND#8063 / MN#40489115Jill Carlson started her career at PARK CO., REALTORS® in 2008 as a sales associate. When there was an opportunity to join the leadership team in 2014, she jumped at it and began a new career path. From Relocation Director to VP of Business Development and as current Owner, Jill has in-depth knowledge of what it takes to run a successful brokerage. She has a passion for real estate and a particular love for the Park Co. family. In fact, she often claims she is not going to work every day but instead “going to hang out with her second family.” As Owner, Jill juggles many duties but especially enjoys working with the Park Co. agents to help them become more efficient and productive in their business practices. Jill graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. in Marketing and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology. When away from the office, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling, and spending summer weekends at the lake.

President ND#8354 / MN#40234634 As President, Shawn plans, implements, manages, and runs all financial activities of the company including business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. He also manages all IT aspects including infrastructure and technology systems. Shawn has been with PARK CO., REALTORS® since 2011 and is a licensed REALTOR® in both North Dakota and Minnesota. When away from the office, Shawn enjoys lake life and fishing during his free time.
BETTY WIELAND
Designated BrokerWith over 40 years at PARK CO., REALTORS®, Betty Wieland is a valuable asset to our company and our agents. She serves as the designated broker who assists in leading the company brokerage responsibilities. Outside of the office, Betty enjoys activities such as golfing, attending rodeos, tending to her garden, and traveling.
MACHELLE VELASKI
Business Development DirectorMachelle Velaski is our Business Development Director and a REALTOR® with over 20 years of experience in the Fargo/Moorhead metro area, specializing in residential real estate. She is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and the North Dakota Association of REALTORS®. With a background in healthcare consulting and a nursing degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Machelle excels in project management and client relations. Passionate about her community, she is dedicated to making a difference in her clients' lives. Machelle, her husband Dave, and their three sons enjoy spending time in the lakes area and supporting local sports teams.
COURTNEY SMITH
Marketing DirectorAs Marketing Director, Courtney Smith leads the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for both agent and company-wide strategies with a strong focus on building brand visibility and impact. Originally from St. Michael, MN, Courtney holds a B.S. in Marketing from North Dakota State University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her dog, Ace.
MEKENNA ERICKSON
Marketing CoordinatorMekenna Erickson is one of our Marketing Coordinators responsible for implementing digital campaigns, designing custom agent materials, coordinating print and email marketing, and supporting brand strategy across platforms. Originally from Grand Forks, ND, she earned her B.S. in Strategic Communication from North Dakota State University. Mekenna brings experience in graphic design, print advertising, photography, and strategic marketing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing guitar, and attending concerts and sporting events whenever possible.
MARIAH SCHATZ
Marketing CoordinatorMariah Schatz, a West Fargo native, is a Marketing Coordinator who implements social media strategies, creates agent materials, assists with event planning, and contributes to a variety of design projects. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a B.S in Strategic Communication and a minor in Entrepreneurship. After graduating in the Spring of 2023, she moved to Dallas, TX to explore outside of her hometown and grow her marketing experience. There, she landed a job as a Marketing Coordinator at an artisanal home decor company. Through this role, she expanded her knowledge in all things marketing, specializing in social media. After a year in the big city, she decided to move back to Fargo to be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake, spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and going to workout classes.
ALICIA KRIER
Senior Agent Services CoordinatorAs our Senior Agent Services Coordinator, Alicia ensures a smooth closing for each transaction. She collaborates with title and abstract companies, lenders, co-op agencies, and others to coordinate contracts. She ensures high-quality support is provided to agents and a smooth closing process transpires for Park Co. clientele. Alicia records and maintains accurate records and assists with sales information. She is a quick thinker and a great problem solver. Originally from West Fargo, Alicia has more than six years of experience in customer service and administrative duties. Alicia will eventually be working towards obtaining her real estate license. Outside of the office, Alicia enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, traveling, tailgating, and spending as much time at the lake as possible.
LOREE TANNER
Agent Services CoordinatorLoree Tanner is from Brookings, South Dakota. She graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and has previously worked in property management and scheduling roles, where she developed strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Agent Services Coordinator, Loree supports our real estate agents with a variety of tasks, including managing listing and sales files, preparing documents, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. She’s known for her attention to detail, reliability, and positive attitude. Outside of work, Loree enjoys going to the gym, good food, baking sourdough bread, and traveling. Thailand has been her favorite destination so far, and she hopes to add many more stamps to her passport in the future.

She did not push us to make a transaction, but rather made herself available to show us houses that we were interested in, and ultimately ended with a home that will exceed our needs. Carrie is very professional and has a reputation in the area for being a top notch realtor. Our primary frustration through the process was the seller, their agent and lack of communication around scheduled visits, walk through and closing. Our expectation of not having the sellers at the home during a second visit and the walk through was an oversight and we would have preferred to have some anonymity between the parties. Having some extra communication/confirmation around these items would have been less frustrating and avoidable. Again, outside that, we would recommend Carrie to anyone looking. Heck, we did give her a referral to friends that moved from outstate and she closed on a property for them in 2021.
